Project Description

The St Ives Residence was conceived as a home of enduring character rather than passing trends.

Drawing inspiration from classic French estates, the architecture is defined by its symmetrical composition, steep slate-inspired roof forms, limestone masonry, oversized arched glazing and carefully detailed cornices. These traditional elements are refined through contemporary proportions and minimalist detailing, allowing the home to feel sophisticated without appearing overly ornate.

At its heart, the residence revolves around a magnificent double-height entrance that floods the interior with natural light. The soaring glazed arch frames views through the home while establishing an immediate sense of arrival. Beyond, generous living spaces unfold with a seamless connection to landscaped gardens, entertaining terraces and a private swimming pool.

Internally, the design embraces quiet luxury through restrained materials and exceptional craftsmanship. Soft neutral palettes, natural stone, oak flooring and bespoke joinery create a calm, timeless backdrop that allows architecture, light and texture to become the defining features. A sculptural curved staircase forms the centrepiece of the home, connecting levels with elegance while reinforcing the flowing architectural language found throughout the residence.
